Spot on David! I participate in a weekly sangha where the teacher is fond of saying that comparing, judging and complaining is the work of the ego.

1. Pay no mind to the mind
2. Use the mind, don’t let the mind abuse you
3. The mind can be a beautiful servant, but a dangerous master

As my teacher also says, “I don’t give a shit what I think, so why should I care what anyone else thinks?” I love that!
